February 2015

Well, we are ready for March here at the Hastings'.  I'm not a big cold weather person, so every day closer to spring and summer makes me very happy.  As it is with most months lately, February went by so fast that I'm not sure exactly what happened.  Good thing I take pictures to remind me of what has helped keep us busy all month long.  I do know that I spent way to much time this past month with a never ending sinus infection.  I think I'm finally over it, which makes me happier than you can imagine.  Having sinus trouble makes me super grumpy.  Just ask Dan, he will confirm this.  :)

Our first big event of February was the Super Bowl.  We decided to root for the Seahawks again because it is Chris Routson's favorite team.  Before the big game started we headed over to my uncle Rod's house to say hi, and to play a prank (he is a big Patriot's fan).  As you may or may not know, the Seahawks lost, but we still had a great time and lots of good food.

We put this on my uncle Rod's garage.  We hear it took him a bit of time for someone to let him know it was there.  hehe

The Seahawks fan and the Patriots fan

Back to our party.

We have prizes for the winners of each quarter.  We like to pull together a bunch of things we have lying at home for prizes.  It makes it fun!

Kwinton looks good in those . . . hahahahahaha!

My mom won the 2nd quarter

Even the kids were in watching the big game

Even though the Seahawks lost, Chris R won the big 4th quarter prize!

Dan and I went to the Valentines activity that the Relief Society put on.  It was a fun night.  I love hanging out with my Dan-O!!

My sister got her kids a cute little dog (Augie) on Valentines Day.  Now Emma has been asking us for one even more.

It was also Science Fair Project time again.  Emma loves doughnuts, so she wanted to do her project  about doughnuts.  And just so you know, most people liked Krispy Kreme doughnuts better.

I still hang out with my Jeffy a lot.  I think it's cute when I find pictures on my tablet that he takes of himself when I am busy teaching art to the kids at the school.

One night we decided to go wander around Scheels just to give us something to do.  The kids love this place!!

The other night we were able to go see my niece and nephew in their school play of Pinocchio.  It was so sweet watching them, it even brought tears to my eyes.  Enoch played Pinocchio and Sierra was one of the townspeople and was also part of the choir.

Getting ready for the big show!

He was so cute when he first came on stage!!

He even sang a few solo's

Sierra did a great job, and I loved catching her eye and making her smile :)!!

Look at those cute kids!

Goodbye February . . . Hello March!
