May 2015

What??!?  It's already almost the end of June?  It seems that I have completely lost track of time.  The good thing is, that it is because we are so busy having fun.  I'm going to do a little catch up and finish my post for May.  I started this post at the end of May, then school got out and everything went crazy.

The first thing we celebrated in May was my Hannah Bo's 9th birthday.  She decided that she just wanted to have a few friends come over to play and have an ice cream sundae party.  Hannah is a very social girl and is very good at making friends.  She love to sing, dance and fight with her big sister (grrr!).  She is such a good little mommy and enjoys playing with little kids.  She is going to make a great babysitter in a few more years.  She has the best giggle, and breathy laugh.  She can always get us to smile when she starts laughing.  I'm so glad to have Hannah in our family.  She will always be my baby, and she helps to make our family complete!  Happy Birthday Hannah!!!

This month Hannah also got a soaring eagle award at her school.  This is given to students that go above and beyond their school work and do something extra.  She worked hard all on her own to get this award and we are very proud of her.

The girls had their tumbling showcase in May.  The did such a good job.  The tumbling class is taught by a young girl that lives nearby and is just perfect for the girls.

End of the school year means field trip time.  I was lucky enough to be able to go to both of my girls field trips with them.  Hannah's class went to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens.  It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun!

My group

Emma's field trip was to the Clark Planetarium.  I woke up the morning of the field trip and put on this Christmas sweater and told her that was how I was going to the field trip.  You can see in the picture that she was not too happy about it.  After the picture I told her I was kidding.  Hahahaha!!  I'm so funny!!!!

Hannah's class did a play and Dan and I were both lucky enough to go see it.  Hannah did a great job and was a cute "lazy teacher" in the play.

This is how I sent my girls to school on pirate day.  So fun!!

End of year also means end of year projects.  Emma did her country report on the Bahama's.  She worked really hard to get it all done.  She really is a go-getter when it comes to getting stuff like this done.

This is the Atlantis resort in the Bahama's that has a water slide that goes under a shark pool.

Not sure what was going on here, but it made me laugh!!

This is Emma after her school play.  She played the imperial hairdresser, and although she was quiet (surprise, surprise) she did a great job!

Emma also had her interview with a member of the bishopric and got her temple recommend.  She can now do baptisms for the dead.

One Friday we headed down to the BYU Museum to check out the origami exhibit.  It was pretty neat!  I couldn't take any pictures in the exhibit, but I took a few of the girls making some origami afterwards.

And there you have it!  I am somewhat caught up again.  We've been having a lot of fun in June and I can't wait to get it all posted!!
