I figured I better get my Oct/Nov post up before it's time for the December one. 😊 It's been a while, but I'll try and see if I can remember anything from way back then. Haha!
The girls both finished up their volleyball in October. It's so fun watching them get better and better every time they played. I even agreed to coach Emma's team in the Spring if she decides to play again.
Hannah's team (along with her cousins Enoch and Cali) took second place in the tournament for their age group. It was awesome!!!

Second place medal!
Cute cousins
Hannah decided that she wanted to be a minion for Halloween. We had a little trouble ordering her overalls and I ended up getting some large mens overalls. They were big, but she still ended up looking so cute!
Captain America (he came home from out of town and I handed him this costume and told him this is what he was going to be, hahahahaha)
I was a Pokemon Trainer
As always, the kids got WAY too much candy
It filled an entire drawer!
Hannah did my toenails really cute again!
So, at the beginning of November I was having stomach problems and feeling crappy once again. I finally decided that I wanted to go and get an official diagnosis for Celiac, if that is what I had. I have spent this last year feeling really bad on and off (while being gluten free) and I got tired of it and wanted to make sure it wasn't something else. Well, the only way to test for Celiac disease is a stomach biopsy, and the results won't show if you haven't been eating gluten, so my Dr and I decided that I would go on a gluten filled diet for 6 weeks and then do an endoscopy and biopsy to finally get some answers.
The first few days of putting gluten filled things into my diet was a little hard. I honestly made myself sick just with worry. I stared at food a long time before I got up the nerve to eat it. After a few weeks I realized that I wasn't any worse off that I had before, so things went good enough. Last Friday I finally had my endoscopy. From what the Dr saw he said that he streched my esophagus out a bit because of something called EOE, he said my stomach was a bit red an inflamed, possibly because I produce a lot of stomach bile. He said this is probably because I no longer have my gallbladder. Then he took a biopsy. So now we wait . . . the Dr said it would be a week or two to get the test results back. So far I have continued to eat gluten and, like I said, am not any worse off than I was before. The Dr did say if this comes back negative then they will treat the stomach bile problem, which could make a big difference to me. Here's to hoping. I'm not accepting that I am no longer gluten-free just yet. Wish me luck!
Here is the first thing I ate that was full of gluten
During church one day I drew this awesome Han Oso. My drawing skills are amazing. Hahahahahaha!!
Tuesday before Thanksgiving is always pie night. We got together at my moms and made pies for all our different family parties. The kids are getting more and more helpful . . . that is when they don't spill on the floor. 😂

The dogs enjoyed watching the pie making, waiting for anyone to drop anything good.
We love pie night!!!
On Thanksgiving morning I took a picture of something I am most thankful for - my cute little family. (and my grumpy dog)
Then I took funny face pictures with the buddies in the family.

The next morning we headed out to do a little Black Friday shopping. Look at all these cute ladies!!
Alright, now I think I am ready for Christmas to come. I just need to wrap presents, plan an activity for Hannah's school party, finish up making a few gifts, and a bunch of other things I am probably forgetting about. What can I say, life is awesome!!
