March 2015

This past March has been awesome.  The warm weather and the great times with family and friends made for an awesome month.

For Christmas, my sister got us all passes to Boondocks.  We decided to make use of them this month, and we couldn't have picked a better day, the weather was awesome!

Standing in line for laser tag

Bumper boats

Driving the race cars

Taking a break and eating some pizza

Time for mini golf

We finished they day by playing games!

My girls had a day off earlier this month, so I decided to take them over to the Fashion Place mall to check out the Lego tour.  It's cool to see what they can make out of Lego's!

Abraham Lincoln.  Hahaha!

We also took advantage of this nice weather and got a few trees planted around the house.  Yes, they are very small right now, but I told Dan that our grandkids can play in them. :)

This past week we were lucky enough to take a little trip down south with a few of our friends.  We definitely are going to have to keep up this tradition, because we always have such a great and relaxing time.  We spent the first few days in St George and then a few of us stayed a few extra day in Springdale checking out Zion's canyon.

Off we go!!

The kids LOVE being together

We spent a lot of time watching the kids swim

The we headed to the park

More swimming!

We couldn't have picked a better weekend to go down.  The weather was amazing!!!

Zach was so hungry he was licking his plate clean.  Hahahaha!

Then we took a hike in Snow Canyon

My babies!

We were outnumbered by kids

Then we headed out to our next hotel in Zions canyon.  This was the view from our window.  Awesome!!

Hannah is very original when it comes to style.  Although some days I scratch my head at her outfits, they make her so happy and it makes me smile. :)

On the shuttle to Zions!

Seriously, it is beautiful up there.  This is mine and my girls first trip to Zions canyon.

View from one of the Emerald Pools

Emma is very daring.  She loves to climb things and seems to have no fear sometimes.

Lucas was falling asleep on his dad's back.  So cute!

We decided to wade in the river for a bit.  The water was super cold, but that was half the fun!  It felt very nice on this hot day.

My feet were frozen!  And as you can see there was a man laying down in the cold river in the upper corner of the picture.  I seriously don't know how he wasn't freezing.

I looked over and saw Hannah wearing Dan's shorts one night.  Silly girl!

Playing catch with the hackey sac in our room.

Dan photo bombing a picture of the girls

We wandered up to see an amphitheater that Dan played at as a kid

We saw a deer just hanging out

What a view behind the amphitheater

Please don't alert the authorities, but we did trespass to go in and see the amphitheater.  The girls were really worried we were going to get arrested and go to jail.

The next day we drove out to Kolob canyon to take another hike.

Dinner on our last night

And a little more swimming too.

A perfect ending to a perfect vacation!!

And now we're back, ready to head into the final few months of school.  The girls have been working hard all year and make their mom and dad so proud.  I can't wait to see what April brings.
