June 2015

June was a wonderful month full of more fun then I could keep up with.  School got out, and we got busy finding fun things to do.  I love spending the summers with my girls!

Just before school got out Emma came home from Young Women's looking like this . . . very blue.  They had a color fight and it seems like they had a very fun time.

It took her a few days to get all of the blue off of her.

The last day of school we planned to attack the kids again when they got home from school.  We decided that since they were planning on having us shoot them with water guns we would try something new this year.  We had a few people come after them with water guns, but then we had a few more people come out after and spray them with whipped cream.  It was awesome, and they didn't expect it!!

Afterwords the kids played in the water

What a great day!!

This month Hannah has been taking tennis lessons with her cousin Cole.  It's been very warm, but they have enjoyed learning to play together.

Jeffy graduated from preschool this month, and since I've been his part time mommy and preschool teacher this year, I knew I had to be there.

He was very shy, but he did tell everyone he wanted to be a Ninja when he grew up

We decided to get a zoo pass this year and we headed up there one day with the Franc's.

The zebra's were fighting

The kids almost got eaten by a dinosaur

My nephew Samuel turned 6 this month and we celebrated at my parents.  He is such a funny guy.  He is very confident and knows he can do everything!  He always makes me laugh.

A few weeks ago we headed up to Lava Hot Springs.  I have never been there before and when my parents offered to get us all cabins up there for the weekend, I was very excited.

I love taking road trips with my family!

Main Street - Lava Hot Springs

This hotel has color TV, haha!

The back of our cabins had awesome decks with a great view of the river

Dan relaxing

We watched many people fall into the river from our back porch

Wierd boys

Cute girls

We went out for dinner the first night

Our cabins were perfect, just what we needed

Some of the kids slept out on the back deck with the Dads

Haha!

We started the next day by going to the hot pools to relax

Some of the pools were REALLY hot

What a great bunch of kids!

After, we headed over to the big swimming pool

Jeffy was very tired after the pool

Then we headed back up to the cabins to get ready to raft down the river

This was sooooooooooooo much fun for everyone.  After we went down the river twice we headed back to the hot pools to finish out the day relaxing!

The next morning we packed up to head home

It was Father's Day.  We are so happy to have Daniel as our daddy.  He is such a great dad and works so hard to take care of all of us.  Love you Daniel!!

I'm also very grateful for my daddy, who not only is an amazing daddy, but and awesome papa as well!

Giving nana and papa hugs to thank them for such an awesome weekend.  We had so much fun and made lots of cool memories!

Time to go!

One last stop for breakfast in Malad

Home again!

Not the best picture, but I was able to go see The Little Mermaid with my girls.  This was an awesome play, and we all had so much fun!!

Last weekend we decided to go watch fireworks at Taylorsville Dayzz.  We haven't done this in a few years, and I'm glad we did.  We had a good time playing and waiting for the fireworks to start.  Another great summer day!

Ooooooh!  Aaaaaaah!

The next morning I found this at my back door.  It seems there is a traveling bear moving around my neighborhood.  Hahahahaha!!!

Earlier this week we spent the morning bowling with Nikki and Jeffy.

Emma making a silly face

We also decided it was super hot outside, so we went to the pool with my friend Shannon and her kids.

My girls both went off the diving boards for the first time.  They were a bit timid about it, but they did it!

Jeffy also was jumping in off the side.

So fun!

So off we go into July.  More fun, more heat, more fireworks and more madness.  Just the way I like it. :)
