November 2012

Was it just me or did November fly by almost unnoticed?  Last thing I remember the month had began then I was eating turkey, and now I am sitting down to blog about a month I hardly remember living though.  Yikes!  I think this means I need to slow down and enjoy the ride a little more.  I realize that it's always a bad thing to say when "this" happens things will be better, but I think that I am so anxious to be done at SLCC that everything else is a blur right now.  Not to worry though, in two short weeks I will be done.  I will finally have the associates degree that I started over 10 years ago.  Doesn't it take everyone 10 years to get a 2 year degree?  No?  Just me I guess.  Either way I am excited.

The weather has slowly been changing which never makes me too happy, but I am happy that I convinced Dan that since it was getting cold outside that I needed a treadmill.  He grumbled a bit but in the end I won the battle and now am still able to keep up my running inside.  And I must admit, watching episodes of Once Upon a Time really makes my runs even funner. :)  Anyways, off we go into November.

Look at this cute little guy.  My nephew Enoch was baptized this month and it was such a great time, I am so proud of him.  Afterwards we headed over to Hires for some lunch.  What a great day!

When we got that big snowstorm the kids spent most of the next few days outside playing in the snow.  Nana and Papa Taylor's house has a hill out front which was perfect for sliding down.

This picture of Jarom says it all.  Sledding is fun!

Emma just got her braces off and now my nephew Gabriel just got his on.  I don't even want to think of all the money that we will end up spending on all our kids mouths.

We have a lot of grandkids and so some of the kids need to eat at trays on the floor to have room for everyone.  It's madness at times.

I try and take a cute picture of Dan and I and some creep jumps into our picture.

Thanksgiving day is always a fun one full of yummy food.

My sweet Emma

I told everyone to dress nice so I could take pictures.  They all weren't happy about it, but oh well.  Haha

My parents and all the crazy grandkids

The Taylor's

Don't ask me what Emma is looking at.

The whole bunch

And we had to get a funny picture

The kids make thankful trees while we waited for dinner

And then hung them up

How cute is that!

Nikki set up a fun activity outside, the kids are waiting patiently to go outside.

Almost time to eat!

I was loving the Thanksgiving weather!

How do you fit 22 people in one room for Thanksgiving dinner?  Very carefully.  What a great thanksgiving!

A few days later these silly boys were showing off all their muscles.
Jeffy & Sam

After we celebrated Thanksgiving we decided it was time to get the Christmas stuff set up.  The girls had a fun time decorating the tree.

Emma's piano lessons are going very well.  She is slowly turning into her dad.

Hannah tried on the singing and dancing hat.  So fun!!

Well, I still can't believe that we are already heading into December but I guess I'll have to accept it.  Off we go into a month of more madness and fun.  It's kind of a new start for me also.  I'm nervous and excited to figure out what I am going to do with myself after I graduate.  If anyone has any suggestions you can always throw them my way.  :)  I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday!!!
