Bedtime Stories

My kids love the movie Bedtime Stories. They have been watching it nearly every day since we bought it. Hannah likes to act out part of the movie. Oh, and she likes to correct me when she thinks I'm not saying my parts right. It's too cute!

Jazz Party

Last night we decided to have a Jazz party and watch the game. It was a lot of fun but would have been even better if they would have won. We had lots of good snacks and shot free throws to get tickets to win prizes. The kids even got in on all the fun. Congratulations to Amber for winning the big prize!

Happy Birthday Gabriel

We celebrated Gabe's 6th birthday tonight. He had a soccer party. I can't believe how big all of these kids are getting. There were a lot of crazy kids running around, I don't know how Nikki did it. Meg made the awesome soccer ball cake which turned out great. He is such a sweet hearted kid and I'm glad to be his aunt. He keeps letting me and Dan know that the house next door to him is for sale because he knows we are looking for a new house. It's so cute!

Surprise

My mom and dad went on a short vacation to San Diego last weekend. They came home to this . . .

I got to their house just as they were arriving home in the airport and saw the mess first. I first saw the crap all over the table and floor and thought 'what the heck!?'. Then I looked up and saw the gaping hole in the ceiling. I guess water had been slowly leaking somewhere and it finally just fell. I can't believe this happened when no one was at their house. Their house has someone in it 24 hours a day most of the time and it just happened to fall when no one was around. My dad and brother worked hard to patch up the hole. I'll see if I can get some finished pictures to post.

My Little Soccer Star

We decided to put the three oldest kids (Emma, Gabe, and Sierra) in to soccer this year. It gives them something fun to do and keeps them active. We had their first game last Saturday and it was so cute. Emma ran around kind of confused but hopefully she will figure out what she needs to be doing. They have the most bright green uniforms and the kids came up with The Mean Green Goblins as their team name.

Happy Easter!

I know Easter was a while ago but I am behind so deal with it, haha. The girls were so excited waking up and seeing their baskets. Emma got a Spongebob pillow and Hannah go a Patrick one. They love that silly show. We had an Easter egg hunt at home then headed down to my parents and they also had a hunt in their back yard. They kids got so much fun stuff. Thank you nana and papa. I've also included some pictures from when we decorated the Easter eggs a few days before Easter. My mom also helped the kids make their own rice crispy eggs, it was great!
