Funny Hannah

Sometimes I don't know what to blog about when I feel like nothing overly exciting is going on.  Dan is currently in St George for the next few weeks so that means extra mommy and girls time, and we are also getting ready to have a fun party for the Super Bowl this coming weekend.  We are rooting for Green Bay (because, no one REALLY wants to root for the Steelers) so the party will be full of cheese and fun.  I'll get some pictures of that up afterwards.  Not much else is going on right now so I guess I'll just let you hear about a few of the funny things Hannah has said lately.

Me:  Hannah, we really need to clean moms car.

Hannah:  Why?

Me:  Because it's filthily and that is embarrassing to me.

Hannah:  It's ok mommy, everyone already knows your car is filthy.

and . . .

Hannah:  Mom I had the weirdest dream last night!

Me:  You did

Hannah:  Yes it was back back baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack in the 70's!

So there you have it!  My girls are always making me laugh over here.

Oh, and on a side note, I've been doing a bit of microblogging of the day to day stuff on Tumblr.  You can find my page HERE if you are bored.  HAHA!

Funny Hannah

We were at dinner the other night and all of your orders came out with fries except for Hannah's. Hers came with a side of cooked veggies. She was a bit upset that she was the only one that didn't get fries but after a minute she announced that she was going to eat her broccoli. They were still pretty hot but she picked one up and put it in her mouth. She then quickly spit it out on her plate and started wiping off her tongue. Dan then asked her "Was it too hot?' to which she replied "No, it was too disgusting!!"

More California Fun

Today we ventured over to the Discovery Science Center. It was a lot like the Children’s Museum in Utah. The girls had a great time playing with all the fun stuff. The funest thing was a little room that you went in to and it simulated the winds of a hurricane. I just had to show the cute pictures of this.

Funny Hannah

The other day Hannah was being especially grumpy so I picked her up and told her I was putting her in her bed because she was tired and needed to rest. She kicked and screamed all the way to her bedroom. Well, my girls both share a twin bed and one sleeps at the top and the other at the bottom. Anyway, I dropped her down on the bed and told her to take a rest and she sat up and screamed "I want to go to MY bed" and crawled over to the bottom of the bed and thew her self down. I had to leave the room so she couldn't see me laughing. "My bed", it was too funny.

Funny Hannah

Yesterday I went to go pick up some lunch on the way to my sisters house. I ordered a salad and when the man in the window handed me my salad he said "and here's your salad". Hannah heard him say this and said "mom, I don't like salad". I wasn't paying attention to her so she said again "Mom I Don't Like Salad". I still didn't answer her (as a mom I just tune things out) so she screamed hysterically "MOM I DON'T LIKE SALAD!!!" to which I replied "Ok, you don't like salad". Then Emma piped up and said "I like salad sometimes" which was quickly followed by Hannah saying "Ooh, I like salad sometimes too!". Seriously, I'm surprised I'm not in the crazy house yet.

Art?

Ok, so maybe I'm losing my mind but I found this in the girls bedroom today and thought it was a work of art. Hannah put it together. I love the balancing act, the necklace on the dinosaur and how he is biting the lamp. Not to mention the pink frog that matches the pink plate, cup and necklace so well. haha

Happy Birthday Hannah!!

Tonight we celebrated Hannah's 3rd birthday. She doesn't officially turn three until tomorrow but tonight was the party. We've had quite a few birthday parties this month so we decided to make cookies instead of cake. We had a lot of fun making (or at least trying to make) balloon animals for the kids. I can't believe how quickly three years have gone by. Just three years ago tomorrow I was in the hospital watching Oprah when I had my little girl. (I remember it was during Oprah because Dan does not like Oprah and he tried to take off, and it's a good thing he didn't because he would have missed the whole thing) I'm so happy to have my little Hannah Bo. She was such a great baby and has grown up to be so full of life. She loves singing and dancing and posing for pictures. She is always wandering around the house keeping herself busy doing cute things. Just this morning I got out their suitcases to start packing for Disneyland, a few hours after I finally noticed as I was walking by that it looked full so I opened it up and sure enough she had packed it full of all of their pajamas. She is too cute!

I made this giraffe (yes, it's supposed to be a giraffe)

Bedtime Stories

My kids love the movie Bedtime Stories. They have been watching it nearly every day since we bought it. Hannah likes to act out part of the movie. Oh, and she likes to correct me when she thinks I'm not saying my parts right. It's too cute!

Funny Hannah

So we went out to eat at Applebees tonight. Hannah is always jabbering and singing and such and she had us rolling with laughter tonight. Dan ordered a Spite for his drink. He was about half way done when the waiter came over with a jug of water and refilled his drink. Hannah must have been paying attention tonight because she knew Dan ordered a Sprite and that the waiter was pouring water into his cup. As he turned to walk away Hannah yelled "Hey daddy he put water in your Sprite, half Sprite half water!" loud enough for everyone within two tables of us to hear. As she did the waiter turned around and we all busted up laughing. He didn't realize his mistake until Hannah hollered it to him and we thought it was hilarious that she was paying attention and that she would say something. Needless to say we all were laughing as he brought Dan a new drink.

My Creative Girls

I have a bin in the back seat of my car that holds random things for my girls to do as we drive. Their current favorite thing to play with is the sticky notes. They love drawing pictures and posting their 'collections' (as Hannah calls them) on the windows. The are so creative and cute. I'm sure when I open the doors to let the girls out people are thinking 'what is all over the windows?' but I think it's cute. I'm sure they'll come down they next time I do a deep cleaning of the car, but until then, it's a masterpiece.

Hannah: Mom, sometimes fingers break. Mine broke.

Me: Oh it did

Hannah: Yes, it fell off and there was chicken inside. It was a chicken finger.
