How do you teach a kid to tie their own shoes! I've tried again and again with Emma and her fingers are just too short and stubby. I'm about to give up and go back to Velcro shoes again. Grrr!!
It's funny that kids really don't learn that until much later these days, because of all the slip ons and velcro stuff. Carter still hasn't got it down either.
try the "cheating" way: make a loop on each lace then tie them together once... that makes no sense does it lol i will hafta show emma the next time i see her... unless you have your heart set on her learning the "official" way first =)

ReplyDeleteThat's why they invented velcro shoes. Then we don't have to teach our kids these things.
