What's So Freaking Funny?

So I have to post another funny Hannah video because she kills me. Dan was telling me a story while we were driving today and he was laughing and laughing. Then from the back of the car I hear Hannah yell "what's so freaking funny?". I thought it was hilarious so I had to get her to say it again on camera.

Angie Agassi

Recently me and my sister have been taking tennis lessons from the local rec center. We both got tennis rackets a year and a half ago for Christmas and have yet to use them. I blame her for getting pregnant last year, but that's beside the point. We've finally put them to use. It's been quite a challenge for an out of shape person. My first biggest obstacle was to keep my racket down instead of up like in badminton, that was a change. I keep hitting the balls way to hard and almost injuring people on other courts. I also can't serve to save my life. But honestly I really really enjoy it. I love a challenge and hope to someday be able to actually play tennis (as in actually hitting back and forth a couple of times before I mess up) with someone some time soon. If anyone is up for a match just let me know.

Suckered

I was so excited to see that Jordan Landing was showing a $1 kids movie yesterday. I took Dan and the kids to go see Happy Feet and only spent $4 to get in the show. Too bad I spent $30 in treats. I'm such a sucker.

Cabin Weekend

We had a great time the past four days up at our cabin in Samak. It was so nice to be up in the mountains in a little bit cooler weather. I would say that it was nice to relax but we did little of that. We went to a parade, played in the creek, went to the Kamas kids night, had our own parade, played in a horseshoe tournament (congrats to Kwinton for winning even though he is my nemesis), sang by the campfire, and much more. I hear it was hot down here in the city but it was very hot up there too. Around noon everyday I started getting tired and delirious which always makes for more fun. Enjoy the pics!

FYI

FYI, it takes about three months for a fingernail to regrow completely. I slammed my thumb in the closet door in about three months ago and my nail fell off. I was just noticing today that it's finally grown all the way back in.

Here's a picture of it just days after the incident, right before it fell off.

Seriously!?!

I'm just wondering if I have a big sign I can't see on the back of my car that says "HIT ME". I was rear ended AGAIN tonight. I was sitting at a red light waiting for the light to turn green and as soon as it did BANG! I was hit. Emma was a little concerned, (why would she hit us mom?) but we were fine. I got out to see the damage and of course my car was fine. I drive a trailblazer that has a trailer hitch sticking out of the back and it seems that I always get hit by a small car that gets a lot of damage to the front end and hood. Her car was pretty dented and scratched (and the wipers were going even though it wasn't raining, don't ask me why) and so I asked her if she was ok. She was fine and I said "If your ok, I'm ok". She was, so I got in the car and left. I just don't get it??? This is the second time being rear ended while I was just sitting at a light and the forth time total. Maybe with my luck I should start driving a hummer with spikes on the back bumper, or put on a bumper sticker that says "showering is for suckers" now that would keep people back.

My Celebrity Look-Alikes

I saw this on a few people's blogs and just had to do it.

I really should be concerned that I look like David Letterman and Coolio, but for some reason it doesn't bug me. Me and Dan just laughed and laughed.

Family Reunion

This past week we spent some time with the Hastings side of the family for their annual family reunion. I was a lot of fun and the weather was great. The kids thought that camping was the greatest thing ever, other than the outhouse. We took Emma out on the lake and she thought it was awesome. I enjoyed watching the fish jumping in the lake, it was cool. Hannah really enjoyed the ride on the 4 wheeler. She couldn't stop laughing. It was a little bit cold at night which I was prepared for. Dan, on the other hand, wasn't. I woke up in the middle of the night with my two blankets and sleeping bag and he was awake freezing next to me. I told him before we went to sleep that he would get cold but he never listens. I offered to share my blanket with him. Needless to say, the next thing I knew I woke up and he was wrapped up in my blanket and I was freezing. Boys! Here are some pictures of our fun trip.
