The Dallas Arboretum

I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to do today so I started by surfing the web to find things for kids to do in Dallas. I came across the Dallas Arboretum. It looked interesting and was only $1 a person to get in so we decided that would be fun. We really had a great time here. There wasn't any rides or games but the girls loved the flowers. They also had a small pioneer village for the kids and a small water area where they could play. It was also right next to a really big lake. I took pictures of everything but it just doesn't do the place justice. It was so beautiful and cool. When I first drove up to the lake I was really surprised too see it in the middle of the city. Big bodies of water like that give me butterflies in my stomach. Maybe because I'm no good in the water. It was awesome to see though. Anyway, like I said these pictures don't do it justice, but here they are.
